The UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 will take place in Switzerland from 2 to 27 July 2025. It is the first time that the final round of the European Women’s Football Championship will be held in the host country Switzerland. Official mobility partner at the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025
Volkswagen is an official partner of the tournament. The car manufacturer announced this on 18 June 2025. Volkswagen has been supporting UEFA in the field of women’s football since 2019. The cooperation with the European football association is now being expanded to include the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025.
As part of the partnership, Volkswagen is providing vehicles for use during the tournament. According to the press release, this includes fully electric models such as the ID.4 or the ID. Buzz as well as other drive systems. The focus is on a sustainable mobility concept to support the organisational processes on site.
Commitment in the sports environment
The co-operation is part of Volkswagen’s long-term commitment to sport. In addition to men’s football, the Group is also increasingly focussing on women’s football. According to the company, the tournament will also be used to raise the profile of topics such as diversity and inclusion.
Organised in eight Swiss cities
The UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 will be held in Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Lucerne, Sion, St. Gallen and Zurich. A total of 31 matches will be played. The final match will take place on 27 July at St. Jakob-Park in Basel.
