Maximum protection for motorhomes is undoubtedly a serious concern for everyone, particularly as the risks at a wide variety of travel destinations are well known. Thitronik has therefore expanded its modular security concept to include two further innovative components: external theft protection with the waterproof wireless magnetic contact, and protection against damage caused by undetected leaks via the wireless water alarm.
Security systems for maximum protection outdoors
The new waterproof wireless magnetic contacts now also secure areas outside the vehicle. These include roof boxes, trailers, bonnets and external hatches.
The robust housing provides reliable protection against moisture and splash water. At the same time, the system detects attempts at tampering using magnets or interference signals. In such cases, an alarm is triggered immediately. This provides security solutions even for areas that were previously difficult to secure.
Fingerprint access for greater convenience and security
With CampLock and VanLock, Thitronik combines security and convenience. A single fingerprint is all it takes to unlock the vehicle. At the same time, the WiPro III safe.lock is automatically deactivated. When the vehicle is locked, the alarm system is reactivated. This means that vehicle keys can be left safely in the motorhome whilst you’re surfing, cycling or going for a walk.
Up to 16 fingerprints can be stored. This is ideal for families or friends travelling together. The sensor is made of anodised aluminium. It is weatherproof, scratch-resistant and particularly energy-efficient.
Wireless water alarm protects against costly water damage
The new safety systems also include the new 868 wireless water detector. It detects moisture from the very first drop. Leaks in the fresh water tank or leaking pipes often go unnoticed for a long time. This can cause damage to floor panels, furniture and the vehicle structure. It also increases the risk of mould growth.
The wireless water detector operates reliably under demanding conditions. In the event of a water leak, the system immediately triggers an alarm via the WiPro III safe.lock. When used in conjunction with the Pro-finder, the warning is also sent to your smartphone in real time. This works even when the vehicle is left unattended on its parking space.
Simple retrofit for greater safety
Installation requires no complicated wiring. This makes the wireless water alarm ideal for retrofitting in motorhomes and caravans. With these new safety solutions, Thitronik aims to close important gaps in protection. Motorhome owners benefit from greater safety, more comfort and greater peace of mind on every journey.
