After just 16 months on the Swiss market, Leapmotor has passed the 1,000-delivery mark. The milestone vehicle is a C10 BEV – and the brand’s growth strategy continues at full speed.
The 1,000th vehicle: A milestone in record time
After little more than a year on the Swiss market, Leapmotor has already delivered its 1,000th vehicle. That is remarkable – because the brand was completely unknown in Switzerland until autumn 2024. Leapmotor made its Swiss debut at Auto Zürich in October 2024. Since then, one milestone has followed the next. And now the four-digit delivery number is a reality.
A Leapmotor C10 BEV goes to Apexgroup
The 1,000th vehicle is a C10 BEV. Garage Hotz in Travers handed it over to Apexgroup. Customer Arnaud Bortolini is convinced by his choice. He praises the design, the interior and the value for money above all. «The high-quality workmanship, the generous interior space and the coherent overall ambience quickly showed me it was the right choice», says Bortolini.
He also highlights a key point: Leapmotor offers a level of equipment, technology and build quality that one would normally expect only in significantly more expensive vehicles.
Leapmotor Switzerland’s strategy: Technology at fair prices
The rapid market success is no coincidence. The brand consistently focuses on electric and electrified powertrains – and aims to make these accessible to as many people as possible. Christof Grütter, Head of Marketing & Product at Leapmotor Switzerland, explains the success: «The rapid success confirms that Leapmotor meets the spirit of the times and the expectations of Swiss customers: cutting-edge technology, elegant design and transparent pricing.»
Two structural advantages add to that. The joint venture with the Stellantis Group and distribution in Switzerland through the Emil Frey Group create credibility and trust.
Garage Hotz draws a positive conclusion
Valentin Hotz of Garage Hotz in Travers sees the rapidly established distribution network as the decisive factor. The logistics of the Emil Frey Group, he says, are a clear advantage for a market entry like Leapmotor’s
It was a fantastic, dynamic year, with the launch of several new models.

Leapmotor: No one-hit wonder
Leapmotor has no intention of resting on its achievements. With the compact crossover B10, the brand has already launched another successful model – available either as a pure EV or with a range extender. The range reaches up to 900 kilometres, starting from CHF 29,900.
Leapmotor does not want to remain a one-hit wonder. By steadily expanding our model range, we aim to establish a brand that can grow sustainably.
