Christoph Wolnik, previously deputy director and head of communications at auto-schweiz, is moving to Polestar Switzerland. Christoph Wolnik is now responsible for PR at Polestar Switzerland. He will take over as head of public relations in May and will continue to drive the company’s strategic communications forward. In his role, he will report directly to the management of Polestar Switzerland.

With an impressive track record in the automotive industry, in-depth market knowledge and an extensive network, Wolnik brings valuable expertise to the role. During his ten years as head of PR and media spokesperson for the renowned association of Swiss automobile importers, auto-suisse, he has acquired a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the challenges and developments in the automotive market and in e‑mobility.
For a decade, Wolnik worked at the center of the Swiss automotive industry and its interface with politics, where he was responsible for numerous communication milestones. Most recently, he was deputy director of the association, to which Polestar Switzerland will also be affiliated from 2023.

Christoph Wolnik is joining Polestar at a crucial time for the company. Following the launch of the two new electric performance SUV models, Polestar 3 and Polestar 4, in 2024, and their award-winning performance by Euro NCAP , the company plans to launch the electric performance four-door GT in 2025. New Polestar showrooms have recently been opened in Lucerne with Hammer Auto Center and in St. Gallen with the Baldegger Group. With this strengthening, Polestar is sending a clear signal of its future direction and further expansion of its market presence.
